Everything you need to know about htma testing
Hey friends,
I am so excited the secret is finally out about my HTMA Clear Skin bundle! This has been in the works for the last year and I am so excited to see it come to life! We will be offering this once a year, with limited spots. So if you missed it, be on the lookout for it to come around again. In this post you will find all the information you need to see how helpful and beneficial an HTMA test can be at healing your acne.
I am sure you have tried all of the things: eliminating certain foods, gone to the dermatologist, tried accutane, or spent countless dollars on doctors appointments just for them to tell you everything is normal. If this is you, I encourage you to keep reading because I have a feeling an HTMA test is the answer you are looking for!!
So, what is an HTMA test? An HTMA test is a hair tissue mineral analysis. Your hair is a soft tissue that gives us a glimpse of what is going on inside your body at the tissue level. This test is a non-invasive, affordable way to test your body’s mineral levels and determine any mineral imbalances you might have. Mineral imbalances are often the root cause of most symptoms you are experiencing such as acne, bloating, lack of energy, poor sleep, anxiety, chronic headaches, painful period cramps, etc. Conducting an HTMA test will allow us to look at your body’s key mineral levels and toxic heavy metal levels.
Here are more benefits of an HTMA test:
accurate testing: HTMA is more accurate than blood labs
more affordable method to get life-changing results
good for all ages, from children to grown adults
detailed, personal results specific to you
Now that we know what an HTMA test is, let’s look at what it actually can tell us. Below is a partial sample HTMA report from a former client of mine to help understand what I am talking about:
If you want energy, you can’t skip minerals.
If you want clear, glowy skin, you can’t skip minerals.
If you want stable moods and peace in your life, you can’t skip minerals.
This might sound like the perfect test for you, but you might be wondering, how do you even do an HTMA test? I am here to simplify it for you and highlight the important parts!
First, you will collect a hair sample at least 6 hours after washing it. If you have recently dyed your hair, wait 3 weeks before cutting your sample for the most accurate results.
You will need about a heaping tablespoon of hair, or about the size of a pencil eraser.
It is preferred to take hair samples from 2-4 locations from your scalp. This ensures adequate sampling and helps to not notice any hair is missing!
If you are ready to gain more energy, have more confidence in your skin, have less anxiety, heal your gut, and feel like a new person, I would love to join you on your journey!
